Wind Ensemble chair placements will take place from 6:00pm-7:00pm (the start of marching rehearsal) on Wednesday, Sept 15.  Please come prepared to play any section of the prepared piece.  The chromatic scale and major scales will be used as tie breakers.   Email Ms. Schoelwer with any questions.

Virginia Tech plays Boise State in a season-opening matchup between top-10-rated teams at FedExField on Labor Day. The 330-member Marching Virginians will perfom at the game. All students and families are invited to join the band for an open rehearsal on Monday, September 6th from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at Oakton High School (2900 Sutton Road, Vienna, Va.).  We hope to see some of you there!
Herndon alumni Larry Stern, Tommy Patchan, Cailin Clinton and Katie Cleveland will all be performing.
